Physiotherapy in Ra'anana – With an Orthopedic Surgeon on Site
עודכן: 30 באוק׳
In short: At Dr. Ohad Segal's sports rehabilitation center in Ra'anana, physiotherapy is built on an accurate diagnosis. When needed, an orthopedic assessment with real-time ultrasound is done on site, and rehab continues in a functional training space until you are back to full activity.
Why physiotherapy here is different
This is not a standard physiotherapy practice. The physiotherapist, the coach and Dr. Ohad Segal, a specialist in orthopedic surgery and sports injuries, work together on the same patient, with the same goals. That means faster answers, fewer referrals back and forth, and a plan that changes as you progress.
The goal is not only to reduce pain, but to get you back to work, training, running and sport with confidence.

What a treatment plan includes
Full assessment: range of motion, strength, stability and motor control, plus an orthopedic assessment with ultrasound when needed.
Manual therapy to reduce pain and restore movement.
Functional rehab in a training space inspired by a CrossFit box, with free weights, functional equipment and performance measurement.
Sports therapy: clinical physiotherapy combined with training principles, so rehab feels like training.
A home exercise program that keeps progress going between sessions.
Complementary care when needed: medical massage, dry needling and clinical sports nutrition.
For athletes, and for everyone who wants to move again

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a doctor's referral for physiotherapy?
No. You can book a physiotherapy assessment directly. If a medical diagnosis is needed, Dr. Segal is on site.
Will my insurance cover private physiotherapy?
Many supplementary and private insurance plans offer partial reimbursement for private physiotherapy. Check your policy, and we will provide the receipts and documents you need.
How many sessions will I need?
It depends on the injury and your goals. A simple acute injury may improve within a few sessions, while rehab after surgery usually takes a few months. We set clear goals and an expected timeline at the first session.
I just had surgery. When should physiotherapy start?
After most orthopedic operations, rehab starts early, following the surgeon's instructions. We build a plan that matches the type of surgery and your stage of recovery.
